A 3 day U.U. Day Camp for Kindergarten through 5th Grades celebrating the winter holiday ofChalica.
What is Chalica?
Chalica (pronounced CHA-li-ka) is an unofficial holiday in the Unitarian Universalist tradition - created by a young woman in 2005 as a way for her and her friends to specifically celebrate each of the 7 Principles of Unitarian Universalism - one a night for seven nights. Because Chalica Camp is designed for only 3 days, it covers several principles each day. Read more about Chalica on the Chalica UUA page.
I love that your Chalica Camp Guide, Summer Camp Guide, and Mission Manifesto (not to mention all of your curricula) offer step by step instructions for creating immersion experiences that kids will remember all their lives. -Pat Kahn, Children and Families Program Director, UUA
